UPDATE - Today my wife had the Vegetarian Noodle Bowl and I had the Grilled Pork Noodle Bowl, both very good. Included 2 tasty deep fried spring rolls per bowl, also tasty. Good service prices. Recommended for quality food at reasonable prices. ORIGINAL Great soup and tasty Denver with fries. Reasonable prices.

We've only been for breakfast once since management changed. We each had the traditional breakfast. Eggs were perfectly cooked over easy. Bacon was relatively thin, not too salty, and well done. Hash browns are nicely fried chopped potatoes with lightly crispy exteriors and soft interiors Unfortunately, the sausage is no longer the incredibly delicious house-made variety Nellie's used to serve but these new standard breakfast sausages were still tasty and I liked the way they split them open before frying them. Prices are about 50¢ higher per plate than under old management but still very reasonable. Service is very friendly, if a little inattentive. We will definitely return.

A Brothy Baptism of the Soul (With a Ukrainian Side Quest) If I could give Nellie’s Kitchen 87 stars and a standing ovation mid-meal, I would. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a divine portal to Flavortown with a stopover in Saigon and a warm hug from your long-lost Vietnamese auntie who insists you’re too skinny and won’t let you leave without three more scoops of noodles. I came in hungry. I left reborn. The Vietnamese noodle bowl didn’t just slap—it gently cradled my taste buds, whispered affirmations, then powerbombed them into a pool of perfectly seasoned broth. The noodles? Silky strands of joy. The meat? Tender like a love song. The herbs? Fresher than my haircut before a wedding. And the sauce? I wanted to bottle it up and sell it under the label “Liquid Gold: For Internal Use Only.” But wait—plot twist! Just when I thought I had tasted peak perfection, in rides the Ukrainian Beet Borscht like a Slavic superhero in a soup bowl. Vibrant, earthy, sweet, and tangy all at once, it made me want to write poetry in Cyrillic. And don’t even get me started on the Ukrainian platter. Perogies like soft edible pillows. Cabbage rolls with grandma-level care. Sausage so good it should come with a warning label. Nellie’s isn’t just serving food—it’s orchestrating an international flavor summit. Vietnamese comfort meets Ukrainian soul food, and my mouth got a front-row seat. The service? Friendlier than a golden retriever on a sugar high. The vibe? Cozy, unpretentious, and filled with the kind of smells that could make a grown man weep. The service? Friendlier than a golden retriever on a sugar high. The vibe? Order the noodle bowl. Tell them your stomach sent you.

From out of town, I was driving by and decided to stop. I had the day special : " Chicken breast stir fry. " Within minutes after going to the restroom to washup, I was served. The tasty item was adequate and reasonably priced. Upon leaving I over heard one of the other customers say they were ordering cabbage rolls ... it makes me want to come back another time ... maybe tomorrow
